10 Q's cooking 10qs

On Thursday we made bread rolls


Ingredients
200 g strong flour
5 ml spoon salt
7 g packet fast action dried yeast
150 ml warm water


Equipment
sieve, mixing bowl, weighing scales, measuring jug, baking tray, palette knife and cooling rack.
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 220 C, gas mark 7. Grease a baking tray.
2. Sieve the flour and salt into a mixing bowl.
3. Add the yeast and sugar.
4. Add the water and mix into a soft dough.
5. knead the dough for 10 minutes.
6. Divide the dough into 4 and shape into rolls.
7. place the rolls on the greased baking tray.
8. Cover the rolls and allow to prove for 30 minutes.
9. bake for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.

Every 2nd Thursday 10Q do home economics. This Thursday we made pin wheel scones. they wore DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!! and i am not one to like that stuff.  They were filled with ham ,cheese ,tomato paste and tomatoes which i can't stand . Hi holly here today is house colour day wich is 4 house cauld Shepard Blake Hillary and Rutherford.
I am in Shepard with my 2 friends Chloe and Maisie.
This is a fun day normally we have it on Fridays.

Today we have house colour day,House colour day is when students have fun doing things to help get points for their houses.The houses are Blue for Blake,Yellow for Sheppard,Green for Hillary,and red for Rutherford.

Good Morning everyone! Hopefully your have a great day. Today we have a house competition day and we have to either wear red , yellow , green and blue depending on which house your in. This also gives us a chance to hang out with other children in the school. Go Blue! ( I'm in blue )

     We are all wearing our house colors like Blake they wear blue clothes, Shepherd is yellow, Rutherford is red and Hillary is green latter after our rotations we will begin our  activities which are  outside and inside games that the Leaders have prepared

Christchurch Earth Quake

My heart pounds deep in my chest. “LUCY!” I wail through the emptiness. The city vibrates. Cold blood rots on my leg. “Is it mine” i wonder. "Or is it Lucys?". Not knowing is better. Minutes past, hours, days, i lose count.The dark replaces my hope. Will I ever see light again?  Rubbery smoke wonders through my lungs. Everything is slowly giving up.“Help” i whisper from what I think are my last breaths. Slowly..drifting..off...

I awaken in my bed, in the warmth of the sun light. I'm home. It was just a bad nightmare I sigh with relief. "Daddy! Daddy get up" "it's present time" soft mellow hands shake me. I gave Lucy her locket filled with picture of her and her mum, a beautiful smile spreads across her delicate face. And then a sharp pain escalates down my leg and everything’s black again..

I can't just lay here and do nothing, I need to find my baby girl! Yes everyone dies but not everyone lives and I haven't lived not yet! I shuffle to left, then right. I'm trapped. The light shines down, I see a sparkly shimmer. All hopes lost.

Mufti day

Mufti Day

Today for Mufti Day in the morning 10P went to ICT with Mrs Jenkins. ICT is when we do things on the chrome books like write a blog post. After ICT we have got art with Miss Gardyne. I like art the best because after i have f I can do some maths questions witch they are the best!!!! After art we have got music. For music my group are doing a horse themed performance. Then we have got Mandarin. Mandarin is fun because we don't have it every year and it is a new thing to do!!!!!! I am in Rutherford and I wish it will win against Sheppered.

Monster 10p

For Monster day my teacher dressed as a  Witch and she looked relay relay scary and we all dressed up as monsters but i had Counts cross country and people had to do Jump Jam in there, Costumes it was relay relay funny. I was surprised no one fell over in there costumes.

Friday the 3rd June 2016. We had to dress up as the most crazy and the most funny monster  for book week. The whole school had to dress up even the teachers dressed up. Every one looked so scary. The Teachers had the awesome costumes and looked very spooky.

I thought it was a great time to let your mind run wild with craziness.

Happy House Colour Day

This Friday the 1st is house colour day. House colour day is when we dress up yellow, red, blue or green depending on your house group. We have some fantastic face paint and a few wonderful wigs to go with the cool clothes people are wearing. The coolest had to be Chloe in her clown wig though.
